Games
Linux has gone mainstream for the gaming industry with the introduction of commercial platforms based on Open Source. Libraries and frameworks are already available for achieving high framerates and for programming animations and networked games. The Android platform has significant potential here because it abstracts away the device. Participants learn in this track about design and technology decisions in addition to learning about becoming involved in continued development. This track is jointly organized by droidcon and LinuxTag.
