03.03.2010 Reboot 2010 is working – more exhibitors and more papers

The LinuxTag reboot announced in November 2009 has proved a success. The number of exhibitors and papers due at the 16th LinuxTag (from 9 to 12 June in Berlin) has already exceeded last year’s total. Thus the open programme of papers now lists 25 per cent more papers at Europe’s largest event for Linux and Open Source than in 2009. 03.03.2010 LinuxTag association elects new board of directors

In the course of the annual general meeting the members of LinuxTag association, the supervisory board behind LinuxTag e.V., elected a new board of directors. We welcome our new chairmen Ingo Wichmann and Guido Müller who will be supported by treasurer Martin Schulte.

24.02.2010 Call for Projects launched

LinuxTag's philosophy is to promote cooperation between companies and free software projects. Income from the participation of profit-oriented companies allows LinuxTag to finance a professional platform where open projects can present the broad diversity of free software to the public. LinuxTag asks all Free and Open Source Projects to participate in this year's exhibition. The main application round of the Call for Projects ends on March 24th, 2010.
