The three panel discussions will deal with
- the standpoints of IBM, SAP, PSI and DIW Berlin regarding the future of OSS in the IT industry (IT Profits Convention: Wed. 30 May, 10.45 a.m.)
- the presentation by leading OSS representatives concerning the support for the domestic IT industry through the use of OSS by administrations (Thur, 31 May, 4 p.m.)
- the current views of those with responsibility for IT in Berlin regarding the migration to Linux and free software in the German capital (Wed, 30 May, 12.00)
During the convention for business and administration on 30 and 31 May 2007 LinuxTag e. V. offers a special package, including lunch, printed documents, a conference DVD and unlimited admission tickets for the trade shows LinuxTag and IT Profits. The cost of this package for representatives of public administration is 200 EUR, but for those registering by 19 May 2007 it will be just 160 EUR (plus statutory value-added tax).
